What's for Dinner?

A dark interactive depiction of the effects of plastic in our oceans on the Laysan Albatross. Parents will "fish" plastic debris, such as bottle caps, lighters, and straws, from the ocean and will then feed their chicks this debris, which slowly starves them or chokes them to death. A majority of the plastic found in these chicks's stomachs have been bottle caps and lighters, which they were unable to regurgitate. This is highlighted with the red, circular bottlecap etchings depicting a rendition of the deathcap mushroom.
